mParking is a service offered to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) Dubai by Etisalat where a customer can simply send an SMS, while comfortable at his/her vehicle, to pay for his/her parking ticket. So, gone are the days where customers have to look for coins to pay for parking.
The service has been operational in Dubai since2009. Transactions have been increasing significantly. Very soon, other Emirates will join the network and provide the benefits of mParking to their customers.

All the customer has to do is to simply send an SMS to the designated short code (displayed at all parking areas) with the plate number, zone and time. The customer will instantly receive a confirmation of the transaction via SMS (e-receipt). The amount will be charged to the customer's Wasel or Postpaid connection instantly.
