Etisalat Mobile TV service is a new service that allows Etisalat's Prepaid & Postpaid customers the ability to view live selected television channels on their 3/3.5G enabled GSM handsets except Blackberry & iPhone.
The streamed TV channels can be viewed by mobile TV subscriber using a 3/3.5G enabled handsets with generic media player such as real player (after setting it to view mobile TV channels).

Mobile TV subscriber will also get the basic 3G service “Pay As You Use” by default, when applying for Mobile TV Service.


Note: This service is available within UAE with 3G coverage area.

How to Subscribe

All our customers who are an existing or new GSM or Wasel users, can subscribe to Mobile TV service. However, this service is subject to using required type of mobile handsets.

 

To Subscribe


Type r mtv in the message field and send it to 1010.

After sending the message, you will receive a confirmation of your request

After successful subscription, you will receive a subscription confirmation message followed by a settings SMS.

When you receive the SMS with the mobile TV settings, save it on your mobile.

 

 

To Unsubscribe

1- Type c mtv in the message field and send it to 1010 or

2- Call at our customer care number 101, or

3- Visit your nearest Etisalat Business center

 

Note: The applicable rental of AED39 that is already billed/deducted from your GSM/Wasel account respectively, will not be refunded back upon unsubscribing/canceling the service.

How to use mobile TV service

1- Access Mobile TV Service through Etisalat Mobile Portal - WEYAK (mobile.weyak.ae) using Ewap. You can also access the Mobile TV by having a bookmark on your Mobile menu of internet access.

2- Choose from number of different listed live TV Channels (e.g., Abu Dhabi sports or BBC World)

3- Click on any of the listed TV channels, the channel will automatically start playing in device media player (e.g., Real Player)


Receive Mobile TV settings manually

If you are unable to save the setting or you changed your handset/mobile, you can receive the Mobile TV settings again.


Simply type s mtv and send it to 1010.
