Etisalat's Email2SMS service allow you to send SMS messages to any single or multiple destinations (mobile numbers) from your email. With the tip of your fingers, emails can be delivered to your contact at a much personal and faster way.

Using EIM email (Etisalat Internet Mail), you will be able to send messages to any local or international mobile phone simply by using the SMS Composer or by Outlook Email client (EIM).

Now, the service gets even better!

1,000 english characters can be sent from your email client/web based as a single SMS message to your contacts. If you wish to send your message in Arabic, now it allows 500 Arabic characters in a single SMS message.

How to Subscribe

Email2SMS comes as part of the Etisalat Internet Mail (EIM). Therefore, there is no need to subscribe to Email2SMS seperately.


Documents Required

No documents are required specifically to apply for Email2SMS.
Email2SMS comes as part of Etisalat Internet Mail (EIM) service. To apply for Etisalat Internet Mail (EIM) service, please bring the following documents:

1- Email Application Form.
2- A copy of the Passport.
3- A Copy of a valid visa (For non-UAE and GCC nationals only).
4- Guarantee letter from parent or guardian if the applicant is under Etisalat legal age (21 years).


Specification Details

Using email2SMS through the EIM web based email

Please follow the below steps to use your email2SMS through the EIM web based email:

 

1- Click on the SMS Composer icon
2- Enter the mobile number (with the international prefix if you are sending to an international number)
3- Compose your message
4- Ready to send


Using email2SMS through an Outlook Email client (EIM)

Please follow the below steps to use your email2SMS through an Outlook Email client (EIM):

 

1- Compose your message
2- Enter the mobile number with the following format 123@email2sms.ae
123* if your are sending to a local number, start with the mobile prefix and the mobile number, e.g. 050xxxxxxx@email2sms.ae where 'xxxxxxx' is the desired number you wish to send email.
123* if you are sending to an international number, start with the international code and the mobile number, e.g. +6019 xxxxxxx @email2sms.ae


Outlook email client configuration

For the Outlook Email Client, you may need to change the configuration as follows:

 

Outlook Email client (EIM)

1- Change setting: tools -> email accounts -> view or change existing e-mail accounts.
2- Change the email server
3- Set outgoing mail server (SMTP) to exmail.emirates.net.ae
4- Under more setting, select Outgoing Server tab
5- Check ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication'

6- Select ‘Use same setting as my incoming mail server.’

Email2SMS is part of the Etisalat Internet Mail Service and is subject to the same Terms and Conditions of Use, Etisalat Acceptable Use Policy, and Etisalat Anti Spam Policy.  Etisalat reserves the right to suspend any accounts where the amount of incoming or outgoing messages impinges on the provision of services to other users. Your continuous use of the Email2SMS shall be deemed an agreement to be bowed by the aforesaid conditions.
