The Internet Calling Plan is an add-on service to your existing etisalat mobile and/or eLife service.
A subscription to the Internet Calling Plan (the “Plan”) is required in the UAE to initiate app-to-app video or voice calls using the supported apps available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
Etisalat reserves the right to add, remove, or otherwise modify the list of supported apps listed on the etisalat website.
With an Internet Calling Plan subscription, you can make video or voice calls to any other same app user anywhere in the world.
For the monthly mobile and eLife Internet Calling Plan:
30 days for mobile prepaid users, with auto-renewal. For mobile postpaid and eLife Home users, the fees will be billed monthly and service shall be automatically renewed and will remain active unless removed. For the daily Internet Calling Plan (prepaid mobile users only): 24 hours from the time of subscription.
For the monthly mobile (postpaid and prepaid) and eLife Internet Calling Plan: The Plan will be auto-renewed until you terminate your subscription with an unsubscribe request.
For the daily Internet Calling Plan (prepaid mobile users only): There is no auto-renewal for this plan.
For the monthly mobile (postpaid and prepaid) and eLife Internet Calling Plan: Once you unsubscribe from the Plan, the service will be cancelled immediately and you will lose access, and there will be no refund for the rental fees paid.
With an active subscription to the eLife Internet Calling Plan, calls can be made only when connected to the Wi-Fi network of your home broadband service.
For the monthly mobile Internet Calling Plans: With an active subscription to the monthly mobile Internet Calling Plan (postpaid or prepaid), the data consumed by the VoIP apps will be charged from your data package. The subscription to the monthly mobile Internet Calling Plan does not grant you free data.
For the daily Internet Calling Plan (prepaid mobile users only): This plan comes with a free 1GB data allowance to be used only with the supported applications. If the free allowance is consumed before the end of its 24-hour validity, the data for the supported apps will be consumed from other active data plans, if available.
For the monthly mobile Internet Calling Plans: A subscription to Internet Calling Plan for mobile is required to make app-to-app calls when roaming on mobile data. Data will be charged at standard roaming rates or from your data roaming package, if available.
For the daily Internet Calling Plan (prepaid mobile users only): This plan is available only inside the UAE. For roaming, we recommend subscribing to the monthly mobile Internet Calling Plan and purchasing a roaming pack.
All mobile Internet Calling Plans (daily or monthly) can be used only from one mobile account (postpaid and/or prepaid).
