    3. Find the Model field. You should see the part number that begins with "M”.
    4. Tap the Model field. You should see the field update which shows a five-digit number that begins with "A”. This is your model number.
    5. You can now compare your model number to the ones above to ensure compatibility.

  5. Why do you need to subscribe to the eSIM service?

    Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS + Cellular) has a built-in eSIM technology that allows the users to make calls, send SMSs and stream music without an iPhone. Hence, you need to subscribe to etisalat’s eSIM service to enjoy the cellular features of the Apple Watch.

  6. Where can I activate cellular service - eSIM service?

    You can activate the eSIM service by visiting any etisalat store or using your iPhone handset and watch.

  7. What is the subscription fee for the eSIM service?

    Once you’ve subscribed to the eSIM service, you will be charged AED 25 per month. If you have a postpaid account number, this amount will be charged to your account bill. In case you have a prepaid account number, the amount would be deducted from your account main balance.

    The eSIM service is free for 4 months if you sign up before 15 December, 2018, following which a monthly charge of AED 25 will apply.

  8. Do I need to insert the eSIM?

    No, your Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS + Cellular) includes an eSIM. It's not a physical SIM and is instead automatically downloaded and activated as part of the set-up process, so don't worry - it's all ready to go.

  9. How do I pair my device with my Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS + Cellular)?

    • Open the Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS + cellular) app on your phone
    • Select the option to set up and pair your new device
    • Simply follow the steps in the app to get paired
      1. Hold your iPhone over the animation
      2. Sign in with your Apple ID
      3. Create a passcode
      4. Choose your settings
      5. Wait for your device to sync

    6. If you choose not to set up a cellular service during the initial Apple Watch set-up process, you can always go back to the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and select Cellular under My Watch to sign up later


  11. Can I use my Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS + Cellular) plan abroad?

    Unfortunately, roaming is not available on the Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS + Cellular) plan. However, you’ll still be able to use most of the features if it’s connected to your phone via Bluetooth.

  12. Can I use my bundle allowances (minutes and SMSs) on my Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS + Cellular)?

    You’ll be able to use your phone’s allowances from your Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS + Cellular) device. This means that any minutes or texts used on your Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS + Cellular) will be deducted from your plan allowance on your primary number.

  13. Do I keep my data after I unpair?

    Yes, unpairing your watch won’t affect any active data plans you have. Just tap the option Keep Data Plan when you pair your Apple Watch to your iPhone again.

  14. How can I know if my etisalat account is eligible for Apple Watch eSIM service?

    • If you are a SWYP/FIVE/Control Line user, you cannot activate eSIM on your line

  17. I already have a Clone/Multi-SIM subscription. Am I eligible for eSIM?

    Currently, existing Tawam/Clone/Multi-SIM/Multi-share users are not eligible for eSIM subscription. You may deactivate your existing Clone SIMs on your account and subscribe to eSIM or purchase a new physical SIM and subscribe to eSIM with it.

  18. How many Apple Watch eSIM subscriptions can I have on my etisalat account?

    If you are a prepaid user, you can have only one Apple Watch eSIM subscription and if you are postpaid customer, you can have up to 4 subscriptions.

  19. How can I deactivate my Apple Watch eSIM subscription?

    You can deactivate your Apple watch eSIM subscription via the iPhone watch app (click on the “i” icon and select manage account link). Alternatively, you may visit any etisalat Business Centre or call 101.

  20. I accidentally deleted my eSIM profile on the watch. How do I restore it?

    No, deleting your eSIM profile manually on your watch does not deactivate your eSIM subscription. You can restore your Apple Watch eSIM subscription via the iPhone watch app by pairing your watch to the same iPhone again.     No, deleting your eSIM profile manually on your watch does not deactivate your eSIM subscription. You can either restore your Apple Watch eSIM subscription via the iPhone watch app by pairing your watch to the same iPhone again. Alternatively, you may visit any etisalat Business Centre or call 101 to stop eSIM subscription on your account.

  2. Can I transfer my Apple Watch subscription to one of my other etisalat accounts?

    No. However, you may activate the same watch on another account without deleting a previous subscription.

  3. I see an error while activating the eSIM subscription through my iPhone watch app.
