1. What are Freedom plans?
Freedom plans are the all new postpaid mobile plans designed to give you the freedom of choice and simplicity with more data and minutes with or without a contract in addition to free Wi-Fi hours access.
If you sign-up for a 12 month contract, you will get a monthly rental discount for the entire contract duration in addition to enjoying 6 month free Apple music ‘limited time promotion’.
Don’t want a contract? No worries! you can still get the lucrative data and minutes allowances of Freedom plans without a contract.

2. How to benefit from the free 100 Wi-Fi hours?
With Freedom plans, you will receive every month 100 Wi-Fi hours to enjoy free internet access at more than 350 locations including shopping malls across the UAE when you connect to ‘UAE Wi-Fi by etisalat’. After connecting, simply follow the sign-up steps if you are a first time user.
- Select ‘UAE Wi-Fi by etisalat’ to be directed automatically to the Wi-Fi landing page on your internet browser.
- On some devices, you may need to open your internet browser and type a website address for example etisalat.ae to be directed to the Wi-Fi landing page.

3. What is free Apple music promotion?
For a limited period, subscribe to a Freedom plan that has 12 months commitment and enjoy millions of songs absolutely free for the first six months. Whether you have iOS device or an Android, you can benefit from the service.
After plan activation, you will receive SMS guiding you to sign-up for the free Apple music or simply text “MUSIC” to 1785 or dial *222#. You will then receive further instructions on how to configure, download and enjoy free Apple Music.
If you currently have a subscription for Apple Music directly with Apple, you need to cancel this in order to enjoy Apple Music through etisalat. To do this, you will need to call Apple directly at 80004440407

5. How do I subscribe to add-ons?
Simply use any of the following methods to subscribe or unsubscribe to a range of add-ons (Data booster, Annual Add-on, Roaming add-ons, Internet calling plan) and other services.

6. How can I use the included flexible minutes?
Flexible minutes can be used for calls to local mobile and landline in UAE and to more than 170 international destinations. For the list of countries included in the flexible minutes
Calls to special numbers (example: numbers starting with 600) are not part of the included minutes and will be charged separately.

Local minutes can be used to make calls to local mobile and landline in UAE.

8. How much do i get charged if I finish the Freedom plan allowance?
Calls outside your plan allowances are charged per second.

9. How will I be charged if I subscribe or migrate to a Freedom plan in the middle of the month?
Your Freedom plan rental and your minutes and data benefits for that month will be prorated.

10. If I'm an existing prepaid customer, can I change to these plans?
Yes, you can change to any Freedom plan of your choice. You can visit your nearest Etisalat store or call the contact center 101 to advise you on the required documents.

11. If i have an existing postpaid plan, can I migrate to a Freedom plan?
If your existing postpaid plan has a minimum commitment that hasn’t been fulfilled, you will need to settle the relevant early contract exit charges prior to migration to the Freedom plan.
If your plan has no minimum term, you can migrate your existing plan to the Freedom plan of your choice. Please note if you have a preferred number on your existing plan, it will not carry over to the new plan.

12. Can I cancel my Freedom plan with contract?
If your Freedom plan has 12 months minimum commitment, you can downgrade to a lower rental or cancel the plan. However, you will be required to pay an early exit charge that is equivalent to 1 month of your plan rental in addition to any other relevant charges to your usage if applicable.

13. How can I make a payment for my ceased account, if I am outside the UAE?
You can make payment through online transfer by using Electronic funds Transfer (EFT) Option to Etisalat account as per below details:
