What is Ultimate World Calling Plan?

This is an amazing plan that let you select group of up to 54 countries and make thousands of minutes of international calls to these countries for a fixed monthly rental. With this plan added to your home phone account, you can make hassle-free direct international calls from your home phone to any mobile or landlines in all those countries without worrying of high charges.

Who can subscribe?

Any Home eLife customer (including 1P, DEL, 2P or 3P) of Etisalat in the UAE with a valid and active fixed telephone line can subscribe to this offer. There are no restrictions and you can subscribe at any time of the month. This plan will not be available for any business accounts.

What are the countries I can call in the Ultimate World Calling Plan?

Group 2: You get 2000 minutes for calling to 54 countries for AED 200/month

What are the charges for this plan?

You can choose one from 2 international calling plans

Group 1: You get 2000 minutes for calling to 33 countries for AED 100/ month
Group 2: You get 2000 minutes for calling to 54 countries for AED 200/ month

2000 minutes is just a fair usage limit, and you could continue to make international calls even after this usage limit. You will be charged as per normal standard IDD rates if you call countries outside the specified list or call over the set usage limit of the plan.

How can I subscribe?

You can subscribe through any of the below channels:

  1. Etisalat UAE Mobile App.
  2. Dial 125 from your home phone and subscribe to the desired plan directly.
  3. Call 800101 and place a request to our Customer Care agent to subscribe to the plan
  4. Visit any etisalat Business Centers or through any of etisalat partners channels

Will I have to pay the full price even if I subscribe during the month?

You can subscribe at any time during the month. The charges and minutes for the first month will be on pro rata basis depending on the day of subscription. For example, if you subscribe to Group 1 plan on the 15th of the month, you will receive 1,000 minutes and charged only 50 AED instead of AED 100.

Does the plan have a contract?

Ultimate World Calling Plans does not have any contract that bind you down with exit charges. You can subscribe and you can cancel at any time. Exiting during the month is possible, but the monthly rental will be retrieved for the full month. Therefore, we suggest you to use the service till month end and then exit.

Can I change the group of countries during the month?

Yes, you can. However, if you have any active International calling offer then following will take place

  1. The old international calling plan will be removed, the relevant rental will be charged in full and allowance will be removed immediately
  2. New international calling plan will be activated. New Rental and allowance are prorated for the subscription month. From the subsequent month, the plan will be auto renewed with full benefits.

How do I find out about my usage?

All ultimate world calling plan subscribers will receive an email to the registered email address and SMSs to the registered mobile number whenever you cross 80%, 90% and 100% of the predefined fair usage limits. Therefore, we suggest you to keep your email address and mobile number updated in our systems and confirm them with our Customer Care agents to ensure that these messages are delivered properly. However there are multiple ways by which you could know your real time IDD usage:

  1. Dial 125 from your home phone and find the usage.
  2. Call 800101 and the customer care agent will be able to help you with the usage details.
  3. Visit any Etisalat business center and the sales agent will help you with usage details.
  4. Etisalat UAE Mobile App will reflect the IDD usage under the subscriber Ultimate calling plan.

Will I have to re-subscribe if I upgrade or downgrade my connection during a month?

The plan will automatically move into the new product in case you migrate your eLife connection. There will be no extra action required from your end.

Can I use this service along with other value-added services on voice?

The Ultimate World Calling plan will co-exist with any other value-added service and other products as long as they don’t have any international minutes component. For example, it will still run on the account along with VAS, F2M Bundles etc. However, the existing international minutes products (for example, 1 Fils per Second) will be cancelled when you subscribe to the Ultimate World Calling plan.

Can I extend the Ultimate World Calling Plan to my mobile number?

No. This plan and the associated international minutes is only available to calling from Etisalat home phone. It cannot be availed on any of our mobile plans.
