KSA Roaming Pack

Frequently Asked Questions

How will I be charged for subscribing to this pack?

When you subscribe to this pack, charges are applied immediately but validity starts upon the first eligible usage in Saudi Arabia (not upon purchase).

Where and how will I be able to use the pack?

See below a quick guide for your pack usability:

  • For data and voice usages, you can connect with any network in KSA (Mobily, STC, Zain)
  • When making outgoing voice calls from your pack, you can call any number in the UAE or any number in Saudi Arabia, i.e. local calls within KSA (excluding roaming outgoing calls to the rest of the world, satellite, maritime, in-flight and premium numbers)

What happens if I call a non-eligible country/destination?

Outgoing voice calls to countries other than the UAE and KSA are not included in the voice allowance and will be charged at standard roaming rates.

Can I cancel (or unsubscribe) the pack after purchasing?

No, cancellation is not possible.

Can I purchase more than one pack or different types of packs? What would be the priority of packs?

Yes, you can simultaneously purchase different roaming packages.
If you roam in Saudi Arabia, this KSA Roaming Pack will have a higher priority, as it is specific only to this country and cannot be used anywhere else.

For example: KSA Roaming Pack + Economy Class Pack

  • When you start a valid roaming usage (whether voice or data), it is consumed first from the KSA Roaming Pack
  • Once voice allowance reaches fair usage policy limit, succeeding calls will activate the Economy Class Pack
  • Data roaming usage will still be consumed from the KSA Roaming Pack after reaching the fair usage policy limit, but at a reduced speed

Will roaming callback usage be part of this voice pack allowance?

No, roaming callback usage will be charged separately, as per its standard rate.

How many data units will I get for my package allowance?

Etisalat follows a uniform data allowance configuration across its packages, and your data units will be based on the below conversion: 1GB = 1000MB; 1MB = 1000KB; 1KB = 1,024Bytes.

How will my data units be consumed from the package and Pay-as-You-Go usage?

When consuming data from a roaming data package, or at a Pay-as-You-Go rate, your allowance will be deducted on the basis of 30KB increments.
