How will I enjoy my flexi minutes with Roam like Home?

Enjoy using your flexi minutes as if you are in the UAE. If you make outgoing calls to any destination within the flexi list, they are consumed from your allowance. However, if you call any destination outside the list (excluding the visited preferred country), then they are charged as per the local plan tariff.

If I call Etisalat Customer Care while roaming, will it be charged using Roam like Home?

Calling 101 or 8002300 while roaming shall be free of charge and not taken from your allowance

How can I keep track of my usage?

You can track your local plan usage in the same manner available as while in the UAE (for example, using the My Etisalat UAE app). Alternatively, you can call Etisalat Customer Care for more information.

What if my usage goes beyond my local allowance?

If your Roam like Home is still valid, local rules/rates shall apply. Note that notifications on your local plan will also be available even if you are using it on Roam like Home. We will also send you notifications when you reach the fair usage thresholds.

What if I’m roaming while in-flight, can I still use Roam like Home?

Yes, you can use it while roaming with Aermobile or SITA OnAir networks, which is why it’s recommended to subscribe before boarding so you can enjoy the service onboard eligible airplanes.

How will I know if I can subscribe to Roam like Home?

Only Freedom Plan customers can currently subscribe to Roam like Home. If you are unsure about your local plan, please visit My Etisalat UAE app or call Etisalat Customer Care.

How can I migrate to Freedom Plan so I can subscribe to Roam like Home?

Simply visit Etisalat.ae/postpaid. You can also migrate by visiting Etisalat business centers or calling 101.

Can I have multiple Roam like Home subscriptions?

Yes, but only Data Weekly + Voice Weekly. Any other combinations, including of same flavour (e.g. Data Weekly + Data Weekly), is not possible.

I am subscribed to a roaming pack; can I still purchase Roam like Home?

Yes, you can. Our weekly or monthly roaming packs are activated before Roam like Home. On the other hand, Roam like Home can be activated first before the daily roaming plans.

In case I have Freedom plan 175 having a promo allowance of 200GB (local data), how will I consume my data allowance with Roam Like Home?

You can make use of your data subject to fair usage data caps, as follows:
