These specific terms and conditions (these “Service Specific Terms”) apply in relation to the provision of the Service by e& to the Customer and must be read in conjunction with the other constituent parts of the Agreement between e& and the Customer. The Service is available to individuals and shall be governed, in addition to these Service Specific Terms, by the General T&Cs (Consumer).
Any capitalized terms that are not defined in this Clause 2 shall have the same meaning given to them in the General T&Cs of (Consumer).
“Agreement” means the entire contractual agreement between e& and the Customer, comprising the constituent parts set out in Clause 3 of the General T&Cs (Consumer).
“Customer” means any person who purchases or subscribes to the Service.
“e&” means Emirates Telecommunications Group Company J.S.C.
“General T&Cs (Consumer)” means e&’s general terms and conditions applicable to individuals signing up to the Service as published on e&’s website and as available through the other communications channels referred to in Clause 30 of the General T&Cs (Consumer).
“Minimum Term” has the meaning given to it in Clause 4(b).
“Service” means the postpaid mobile broadband service made available under the name “Home Wireless” by e&, as described in more details in Clause
(a) The Service is a postpaid mobile broadband data service, which a Customer may make use of by using a SIM card issued by e& in any device that supports mobile broadband. Voice, SMS and MMS services are not available and are not compatible with the Service.
(b) The Service is available only at the Customer’s residential premises (“Home Location”). The Home Location of the Customer will be determined upon the activation of the SIM card by e&’s mobile network.
(c) The Customer can relocate the Sim card one time in a single month with no extra charge by calling 101 (subsequent relocations will be charged at AED 100 per move).
(d) Multi-sim is not allowed for the Service.
(e) The mobile broadband data allowance available to a Customer depends on the tariff plan (“Tariff Plan”) to which the Customer has subscribed to in the Service Application Form. The data allowance must be utilized within a billing cycle and any unused data allowance will not be carried forward to subsequent billing cycles during or after the expiry of the Minimum Term.
(f) Tariff Plans:
i. Home Wireless Advance Tariff Plan: the Customer will get unlimited data for the duration of the Minimum Term. If the Customer subscribes to the Home Wireless Advance Tariff Plan, the Customer may opt in to receive a router.
ii. Home Wireless Premium Tariff Plan: the Customer will get unlimited data for the duration of the Minimum Term. If the Customer subscribes to the Home Wireless Premium Tariff Plan, the Customer may opt in to receive a router.
(a) The Agreement is valid and binding on and from the date on which it is submitted to and accepted by e&.
(b) For Home Wireless Advance Tariff Plan: the Service has a Minimum Term of twelve (12) months. For Home Wireless Premium Tariff Plan: the Service has a Minimum Term of twenty-four (24) months (each a “Minimum Term”), which starts on the date on which e& makes the Service available to the Customer (the “Activation Date”). At the end of the Minimum Term, the Customer can continue to make use of the Service for additional terms of one month each until the Service is terminated in accordance with the Agreement.
Please see Clause 8 of the General T&Cs (Consumer), as applicable, for the provisions governing the Customer obligations and restrictions that apply in respect of the Service.
e& will provide the Service to the Customer based on these Service Specific Terms together with the other constituent parts of the Agreement, and in accordance with the law.
(a) The monthly rental Charges will all be computed on a pro rata basis from the Activation Date until the date of the first bill. Thereafter, starting from the first bill cycle, the full monthly rental Charges will apply and Customers will be given all the included data units in their respective packages.
(b) If the Service is terminated part way through any month, the bill covering the final billing period will cover the entire month during which the Service was terminated and will not be calculated on a pro rata basis from the date of termination until the date of the end of the billing cycle (i.e. the Customer will be charged the full monthly rental Charges).
(c) Please see Clause 15 of the General T&Cs (Consumer) as applicable, for the other Charges, billing and payment provisions that apply to the Service.
(d) Tariff Plans
i. For Customers subscribing to the Home Wireless Advance Tariff Plan: the Charges (AED 199 per month) shall be valid for the duration of the Minimum Term (i.e. twelve (12) months). After the expiry of the Minimum Term the higher Tariff Plan price shall apply (AED 199 per month) subject to notifying the Customer via e&’s communication channels and securing the Customer’s explicit consent.
ii. Customers subscribing to the Home Wireless Premium Tariff Plan: the Charges (AED 299 per month) shall be valid for the duration of the Minimum Term (i.e. twenty-four (24) months). After the expiry of the Minimum Term the higher Tariff Plan price shall apply (AED 299 per month) subject to notifying the Customer via e&’s communication channels and securing the Customer’s explicit consent. The Customer will receive a STARZPLAY voucher by email, based on his/ her tariff plan, at the Customer’s email address that is associated with his/ her profile in e&. The voucher can be redeemed by the Customer at the STARZPLAY app or webpage. Also, the Customer will receive three (03) months GoChat Premium subscription.
(a) Transfer of ownership is not allowed.
(b) A request from the Customer to migrate a Service account or vary their subscription to the Service shall be deemed to be an authorization to e& to transfer all of the Customer’s credits, dues and obligations in relation to the Service to the new account or to apply them to the varied subscription.
(c) Please see Clause 16 of the General T&Cs (Consumer) as applicable, for the other customer credit, advance payment and deposit provisions that apply to the Service.
Please see Clause 19 of the General T&Cs (Consumer) as applicable, for the provisions governing the suspension, disconnection and termination of the Service or the Agreement by e&.
(a) If the Customer wants to terminate the Service, they must give e& prior written notice.
(b) The Customer acknowledges that, upon receipt of the customer’s termination notice, e& shall terminate the service.
(c) Where the Customer has selected a plan with a Minimum Term and terminates the Service before the expiry of this Minimum Term, the Customer shall pay an early termination charge, which shall amount to AED 1,000 or one monthly rental Charge of the current plan, which amounts to AED 199 for the Home Wireless Advance Tariff Plan or AED 299 for the Home Wireless Premium Tariff Plan (whichever is lower) and shall pay for the router (in case he opted in) as per the following calculation:
(Rp / Ct ) x ( Ct – ( 1 + N ) )
Rp = the retail price of the device(s).
Ct = the number of months in the Minimum Term of the contract; and
N = the number of monthly payments the subscriber has already made under contract.
(d) Penalty-Free Service Cancellation Period: the Customer may, subject to certain conditions being met, cancel the:
1. Home Wireless Advance plan within three (3) days in case the Customer opted out from receiving a router; or
2. Home Wireless Advance plan within seven (7) days in case the Customer opted in to receive a router; or
3. Home Wireless Premium Tariff Plan within three (3) days in case the Customer opted out from receiving a router; or
4. Home Wireless Premium Tariff Plan within fourteen (14) days in case the Customer opted in to receive a router and e& will waive the exit charges and/ or equipment charges as applicable. The router is to be returned to e& with all accessories and documentation in its original packaging, for any missing components, customer will be charged as per the retail price. The Customer can return the router by calling “101” or “800101” to request e& agents to collect the router.
(e). If at any time the Customer cannot be connected to a 5G network, the Customer will be automatically connected to a 4G network.
Home Wireless Advance
1. Monthly Payments
The Service is offered monthly price of AED 199/month (5% VAT excluded) for 12 months only (Minimum Term). After that, it will be AED 199/month.
2. Fair Usage Policy New Customers
New Customers acknowledge that the Service is subject to a ‘Fair Use Policy’ (“FUP”) after the expiry of the Minimum Term and the following restrictions and/or limitations in respect of the use of the Service and any add-on services shall apply: e& reserves the right to control the speed of the Service to 1Mbps on either of the plans if the Customer exceeds 5TB of data usage in a month.
Existing Customers
For existing Home Wireless Advance plan Customers (formerly Home Wireless 4G plan), after the promotion period the FUP as applicable prior to the promotion period shall apply i.e. by controlling the speed to 1Mbps in case the Customer exceeds 300 GB of data usage in a month. For existing Home Wireless Premium Customers (formerly Home Wireless Premium plan) after the Promotion Period, the FUP as applicable prior to the Promotion shall apply i.e. by controlling the speed to 1Mbps in case the Customer exceeds 1000 GB of data usage in a month.
3. Ending your contract
Where the Customer has selected a Service plan with a Minimum Term and terminates the Service before the expiry of this Minimum Term, the Customer shall pay an early termination charge, which shall amount to AED 1000 or one undiscounted monthly rental charge (whichever is the lower), which amounts to AED 199 for the Advance subscription plan and AED 299 for the Premium subscription plan, and shall pay for the Router as per the following calculation:

Ct = the number of months in the Minimum Term of the contract; and

3. Penalty-Free Service Cancellation Period:
Customer may, subject to certain conditions being met, cancel the home wireless Advance plan within 3 days in case that the Customer opted out from receiving a router, or within 7 days in case the Customer opted in to receive a router, the home wireless Premium plan within 14 days and e& by e& will waive the exit charges and/or equipment charges as applicable. The router is to be returned to e& by e& with all accessories and documentation in the original packaging. The Customer can return the 4G or 5G router, as the case may be, by calling 101 or 800 101 to request e& by e& agents to collect the router.
4. Disclaimer:
e& by e& will do its best to deliver the Data SIM and/or 5G Router for the Home Wireless service within 24 Hours from ordering online (Web/The e& UAE App).
In very rare conditions, delay might occur due to official holidays, weekends, and weather conditions. In such case the delivery will be scheduled on the next available slot on priority”.
5. Please note that Home Wireless is an automated activation and does not require any complex installations from either e& or the customer.
Home Wireless Premium
1. Monthly Payments
The Service is offered at monthly price of AED 299 (VAT exclusive) for 24 months only (Minimum Term). After that, it will be AED 299 per month.
2. Fair Usage Policy New Customers
New Customers acknowledge that the Service is subject to a ‘Fair Use Policy’ (“FUP”) after the expiry of the Minimum Term and the following restrictions and/or limitations in respect of the use of the Service and any add-on services shall apply: e& reserves the right to control the speed of the Service to 1Mbps on either of the plans if the Customer exceeds 5TB of data usage in a month.
Existing Customers
For existing Home Wireless Premium plan Customers (formerly Home Wireless 5G plan), after the promotion period the FUP as applicable prior to the promotion period shall apply i.e. by controlling the speed to 1Mbps in case the Customer exceeds 300 GB of data usage in a month. Existing Customers
For existing Home Wireless Advance Tariff Plan Customers (formerly Home Wireless 4G plan), the FUP shall apply i.e. by throttling the speed to 1Mbps in case the Customer exceeds 300 GB of data usage in a month.
(ii). Home Wireless Premium Tariff Plan
New Customers

New Customers acknowledge that the Service is subject to a ‘Fair Use Policy’ (“FUP”) after the expiry of the Minimum Term and the following restrictions and/or limitations in respect of the use of the Service and any add-on services shall apply: e& reserves the right to control the speed of the Service to 1Mbps on either of the plans if the Customer exceeds 5TB of data usage in a month.
Existing Customers
For existing Home Wireless Premium plan Customers (formerly Home Wireless 5G plan), after the promotion period the FUP as applicable prior to the promotion period shall apply i.e. by controlling the speed to 1Mbps in case the Customer exceeds 300 GB of data usage in a month. For existing Home Wireless Premium Customers (formerly Home Wireless 5G Premium) after the Promotion Period, the FUP as applicable prior to the Promotion shall apply i.e. by controlling the speed to 1Mbps in case the Customer exceeds 1000 GB of data usage in a month.
3. Ending your contract
Where the Customer has selected a Service plan with a Minimum Term and terminates the Service before the expiry of this Minimum Term, the Customer shall pay an early termination charge, which shall amount to AED 1000 or one undiscounted monthly rental charge (whichever is the lower), which amounts to AED 199 for the Home Wireless Advance subscription plan and AED 299 for the Home Wireless Premium subscription plan, and shall pay for the Router as per the following calculation:
(Rp / Ct ) x ( Ct – ( 1 + N ) )
Rp = the retail price of the device(s).
Ct = the number of months in the Minimum Term of the contract; and
N = the number of monthly payments the subscriber has already made under contract.
1. Penalty-Free Service Cancellation Period:
The Customer may, subject to certain conditions being met, cancel the home wireless Advance plan within 3 days in case that the Customer opted out from receiving a router, the home wireless Advance plan within 7 days in case the Customer opted in to receive a router, the home wireless Premium plan within 14 days and e& by e& will waive the exit charges and/or equipment charges as applicable. The router is to be returned to e& by e& with all accessories and documentation in the original packaging. The Customer can return the 4G or 5G router, as the case may be, by calling “101” or “800101” to request e& by e& agents to collect the router.
2. Multi-Sim:
Multi-sim is not allowed for this service
3. Customer Home Location
You can relocate the Home Wireless (SIM card) once in a single month with no extra charge by calling 101. Subsequent moves will be charged AED 100 (VAT excluded) per instance in the same month.
4. Disclaimer
e& by e& will do its best to deliver the data SIM and/or 4G/5G Plug-n-Play Router for the Home Wireless service within 24 hours of the online order. In very rare conditions, delays might occur due to official holidays, weekends, and weather conditions. In such cases, the delivery will be scheduled on the next available slot on priority.
Please note that Home Wireless is an automated activation and does not require any complex installations from either e& by e& or the customer.
New Home Wireless Advance Tariff Plan Customers acknowledge that the Service is subject to a FUP after the expiry of the Minimum Term and the following restrictions and/ or limitations in respect of the use of the Service and any add-on services shall apply: e& reserves the right to throttle the speed of the Service to 1Mbps if the Customer exceeds 5TB of data usage in a month.
Existing Customers
For existing Home Wireless Advance Tariff Plan Customers (formerly Home Wireless 4G plan), the FUP shall apply i.e. by throttling the speed to 1Mbps in case the Customer exceeds 300 GB of data usage in a month.
(ii). Home Wireless Premium Tariff Plan
New Customers
New Home Wireless Premium Tariff Plan Customers acknowledge that the Service is subject to a FUP after the expiry of the Minimum Term and the following restrictions and/ or limitations in respect of the use of the Service and any add-on services shall apply: e& reserves the right to throttle the speed of the Service to 1Mbps if the Customer exceeds 5TB of data usage in a month.
Existing Customers
For existing Home Wireless Premium Tariff Plan Customers (formerly Home Wireless 5G plan) acknowledge that the Service is subject to a FUP after the expiry of the Minimum Term and the following restrictions and/ or limitations in respect of the use of the Service and any add-on services shall apply: e& reserves the right to throttle the speed of the Service if the Customer exceeds 1000GB of data usage in a month.
The Customer may contact e& to discuss the Service (including these Service Specific Terms and the General T&Cs (Consumer) or any other product or service offered by e&, by using any of the communications channels stated in Clause 30 of the General T&Cs (Consumer).
