Do Not Call Registry (DNCR) updates as of August 2023 state that:
Telemarketers are no longer able to make any promotional calls to phone numbers listed in the DNCR Directory, even with prior customer consent.

The DNCR has been in effect since September 2022

This platform aims at providing a secure communications environment and protecting individuals from unwanted telemarketing, spam or malicious calls. Individuals that continue to receive unsolicited calls despite being enlisted under the DNCR have the right to file a complain.

|
Businesses are strongly advised not to make promotional calls to phone numbers listed in the DNCR, even with prior customer consent. Breach of this directive will result in number revocation and reporting to the concerned authorities.
