Trade-in offer

Devices are technically evaluated and categorised by etisalat's trained staff.
Basic criteria for all devices.

Mobile network is working:

  • The device shows the mobile network signals on the screen

No activation lock (i.e. SIM lock, iCloud lock, Android lock):

  • No SIM lock: the SIM is not locked to a particular carrier from the UAE or any other country, such as du, Zain etc. and can work with a SIM of any carrier
  • No iCloud activated on the device (in case of an iPhone): Apple ID and “Find my iPhone” must be disabled on the device (see annexure for further details on how to remove an iCloud ID)
  • ID must be disabled on the device
  • No screen locks, pin locks, pass-codes, etc.
  • The device is fully accessible and not stuck on iTunes/iTunes logo
  • Consumer data must be cleared if contractually requir
  • Phone is not bent
  • All personal data from the device has been erased and it has been restored to its factory settings
  • Wi-Fi is working

Condition:

  • Unlimited scratches on the front glass and chips on plastic ring around front glass are allowed, but there are NO chips or cracks on the front glass OR issues with the internal LCD
  • Unlimited scratches and chips/dents on back cover and housing
  • Dents on corners, but NO cracks
  • NO missing or alternative parts
  • Minor cracks (without splitting) on back cover and scratches on camera lens are allowed (only for iPhones)
  • Device should charge when connected to a charger
  • Battery cannot be swollen
