1. If you wish to use your own router, that’s fine. Please ensure your router is capable of delivering the speeds you subscribed to. All e& routers that are supplied during your installation are rated to work at your subscribed speeds and have remote support capabilities.
2. However if you face issues with your non-e& supplied router, we may be unable to remotely assist you and you may need to pay for a technician visit if the fault is deemed to not be with e&’s network.
3. If you use your own router then the router that is supplied during your installation is not chargeable if you terminate your contract early.All other applicable early termination penalties will apply.
1. Basic Exit Charge
a) If you cancel your service or downgrade to a plan with no exit charge before the end of the minimum term an equivalent of one Monthly Recurring Charge (MRC) or AED 1,000 whichever is lower is applicable.
b) If you downgrade to a new plan that has exit charge, and the new plan’s MRC is lower than old one, then either i) the difference between the old MRC and the new MRC or ii) the outcome of the formula (AED 1000 – new MRC), whichever product is lower between i) or ii) shall apply.
2. Devices
If you break device agreement periods, prorated device exit charges for the remaining period will be applicable.
3. Total Exit Charges are Basic Exit Charge + (Device Retail Price / Device Agreement Period in months) x (Device Agreement Period in months - (1+ monthly payments already made by you for devices under the device agreement)).
4. The Device Exit Charge is dependent on the retail price of the device which can be any or all of the following:
a) 4K TV Box: AED 480/ AED 720
b) Router: AED 240/AED 540/AED 960
c) Home Phone: AED 120
d) Gaming Controller: AED 120

Minimum term of 12 months applies. Devices comes at no-extra charge within the minimum term.
An exit charge equivalent to 1 month’s installment applies only on fixed-term plans up to a maximum of AED 1,000 (basic exit charge).
For all eLife Lite plans, any remaining device charges will be applied on a pro rata basis.
Total applicable charges will be calculated as:
Basic exit charge + (Device’s retail price/agreement term in months) x (Agreement term in months – (1 + number of months already completed in the agreement))
The devices charge is dependent on the retail price of the device which can be any or all of the following:
eLife Lite Plans 25Mbps plans come with free, pre-activated voicemail service. Retrieving voicemail by dialling 123 is chargeable at 30 fils/min.
Average speed and maximum speed can only be achieved via Ethernet cable and by using equipment provided by e&.
