• Get your IoT device from a retailer or online store.
• Purchase the e& Smart SIM and set it up using the e& UAE app.
• Insert the Smart SIM into your IoT device to activate its connection.
The Internet of Things (IoT) describes a network of physical objects ("things") embedded with sensors, software, and other technologies that allow them to connect and share data with other devices and systems via the internet.
Our Smart SIM is specifically designed for consumer IoT devices, not industrial ones.

You can find various IoT devices at electronics stores and online marketplaces in the UAE. However, the e& Smart SIM is designed specifically for devices that use mobile data or depend on incoming calls to operate. These include:
• Trackers: GPS trackers for pets, luggage, or vehicles
• Home Automation: Garage door openers
• Automotive: Car diagnostic tools
Note: Devices that rely on Bluetooth (like Apple AirTags and Samsung SmartTags) or Wi-Fi (like smart lights and smart locks) are not compatible with the e& Smart SIM.
1. This SIM is exclusively for Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
2. The SIM card is offered FREE of charge.
3. 2GB data is provided every 30 days and is automatically added to your account.
4. Data speed is 192Kbps. The service will pause once 2GB of data is consumed. The data allowance (2GB) will reset every 30 days, and the service will resume once the data is reset
5. The following services will be disabled:
• Outgoing Voice Call (Local & International)
• Outgoing & Incoming video Calls (Local & International)
• Outgoing SMS (Local & International)
• Outgoing & Incoming Roaming calls (Voice, Video & SMS)
• Call Forwarding
• Data Roaming Only
• Pay-As-You-Go usage (Data, Voice & SMS)
• Social Media Platforms: WhatsApp, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram or any other social media
You can manage your Smart SIM through the e& UAE app. The app allows you to:
• View your account details, mobile number, and plan name
• See your data allowance for the upcoming month and your annual renewal date
• Check your current credit balance
• Monitor your data usage
• Top up your line (after the initial 12-month period)

Your initial 12-month subscription requires no top-ups. However, to continue service beyond this period, you must recharge your line before the expiry date.
Failure to recharge will result in a 30-day suspension of your plan, during which time you can still reactivate it by topping up.
If you do not recharge within those 30 days, your line will be deactivated.
