New and existing eLife customers with 3P (landline, internet and TV) service bundles are eligible for the new service. Note that a compatible eLife TV box is required, and upgrade fees might occur and will be charged additionally over and above the AED 10/month Smart home control services subscription fee.
Existing eLife customer to upgrade to compatible eLife Smart Living TV box would pay additionally as per below options:
Option 1: Upgrade to eLife Smart Living Standard TV Box (KAON 6078) with push-to-talk remote control for additional rental of AED 30/month (5% VAT excluded) for 24 months to be charged on top of eLife 3P subscription. (Added with AED 10/month Smart Living Home Control Service subscription for a total of AED 40 /month)
Option 2: Upgrade to eLife Smart Living Premium TV Box (KAON 6080) with embedded mic and speaker (supporting hands-free voice commands in English and Arabic languages) for additional rental of AED 50/month (5% VAT excluded) for 24 months to be charged on top of eLife 3P subscription. (Added with AED 10/month Smart Living Home Control Service subscription for a total of AED 60/month)
New eLife customers need to choose one of the following compatible eLife Smart Living TV boxes options and pay additionally as per below options
Option 1: Subscribe to new eLife Smart Living Standard TV Box (KAON 6078) with push-to-talk remote control with no additional charges to the eLife subscription. (Added with AED 10/month Smart Living Home Control Service subscription for a total of AED 10 /month)
Option 2: Subscribe to eLife Smart Living Premium TV Box (KAON 6080) with embedded mic and speaker (supporting hands-free voice commands in English and Arabic languages) for additional rental of AED 25/month (5% VAT excluded) for 24 month (added with AED 10/month Smart Living Home Control Service subscription for a total of AED 35/month)
The Smart Living Home Control Service allows unlimited number of set-top boxes to be connected to the service.
The Smart Living Home Control Service allows unlimited number of eLife Smart Living TV boxes to be connected to the service.
The monthly service subscription of AED 10/month will be common for all compatible eLife Smart Living TV boxes, i.e if you have 3 eLife Smart Living compatible TV boxes, they will pay only AED 10/month to enable Smart Living Home Control Service across all compatible TV boxes
Yes, new users to the service can get first 3 months FREE subscription, with AED 10/month and would be only charged from the 4th month onwards.
No, only 3P (landline, internet and TV) service bundles are eligible for the new service as the voice commands and Smart Living dashboard are depending on the eLife Smart Living TV boxes.
There is no exit charges for the Smart Living Home Control Service, and the customer can request to cancel the Service subscription by visiting any e& business centers or by calling 800101.
The customer is able to stop the Smart Living Home Control Service at any time without extra charges, while they can still keep the eLife Smart Living TV box and pay the monthly subscription fees for that TV box as usual.
If the customer wishes to return the eLife Smart Living TV box, they will need to pay the exit charges as per eLife exit charges.
For the first phase of launch, devices from Ring, Yale, Philips Hue, Honeywell only will be offered with free installation and after-sale support from Etisalat by e& if purchased as add-on over eLife account
Yes, smart living devices can still be purchased over mobile postpaid account, and will be offered with free delivery and easy instalment plans but installation services and after sale support will not be offered from e& in this case
If you purchase your smart living devices as an add-on over eLife account, you will receive free delivery, after sale support and free installation by professional and trained team from e&.
While if you purchase them as an add-on over mobile postpaid account you will only be eligible for free delivery, whereas the aftersales support and installation services will be arranged from customer’s side
New eLife customers who purchase the new compatible eLife Smart Living TV boxes and subscribes to the Smart Living Home Control Service at the channel points, will receive the installation service for the TV box and activation of the service from e& team
Existing eLife customers who chose to upgrade their TV box to one of the eLife Smart Living TV boxes and subscribed to the Smart Living Home Control Service at the channel points, will receive the installation service for the new TV box and activation of the service from e& team
Existing eLife customers with compatible eLife Smart Living TV box and subscribed to the Smart Living Home Control Service at the channel points, will get the Smart Living Home Control Service technology pushed over the air to convert the compatible TV Box and accordingly need to set up as per the below link

Step 1: First is to login or create a new user credential with the native app and register your smart home devices on the app
Step 2: Login or create new credentials with the Amazon Alexa app and register your smart home devices on the app
Step 3: Go to the eLife TV screen, under “assist” menu, press “ok” on the Alexa tab
Step 4: Select “Get Started” and register or log in to your amazon account to connect to the Alexa voice service
Step 5: Once connected, you can use voice commands using the voice button on the eLife Smart Living TV boxes remote for eLife Smart Living Standard TV Box (KAON 6078) or directly give voice commands to the eLife Smart Living Premium TV Box (KAON 6080) to listen to your favourite music, get the weather report, or control your smart home devices.

Step 1: Create an account on the Smart Living mobile app.
Step 2: Register your smart devices on the relative native app (example: if you have Yale Smart Lock, make sure you configure it first on the Yale Access App). Once registered, link/add native app account to the Smart Living mobile app. Once device is linked you can manage all the devices registered (e& smart living devices or even bought from outside) to create any type of automation and scenes settings.
Step 3: Log in to your account on the Smart Living dashboard with the Smart Living app credential
Step 4: The Smart Living dashboard will sync with your mobile app account and you can see and control all the smart living devices registered under the Smart Living mobile app on the Smart Living dashboard

Yes, you can. As long as these smart living devices are compatible with Amazon Alexa – but please note that after sale support and installation services will not be extended from e& side
No, all devices configured under your Amazon Alexa account will be able to control with voice commands
Example, you can start the smart vacuum machine by giving the right utterance of “Alexa, start the robovac”
Any family member, child or elderly can give voice commands to start compatible smart living devices with Amazon Alexa if they use the right utterance
Example, “Alexa, turn on the living room light”
In order to add new devices to the Smart Living mobile app or to command and mange your Amazon Alexa enabled eLife Smart Living TV boxes, you would first need to onboard each device on the relative native applications. For the first phase of launch, only these brands would be represented in the Smart Living dashboard and the Smart Living App. RING, Yale Access, Philips Hue and Honeywell Home (see steps below).
